Carol Cruickshank, CNM, Program Director
Carol Cruickshank, CNM, Program Director, plans and organizes PINCC medical campaigns and works closely with PINCC volunteers.
Carol is a Certified Nurse-Midwife. She did her midwifery education at Columbia University in New York City. For thirty years she was in active practice as a midwife in New York, California, Nicaragua and Argentina. Most recently, before joining PINCC, she was founder and director of Paso a Paso, a program for Spanish-speaking pregnant women and their families, at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, California. She and her husband, Fred Adler, have two adult children and live in San Francisco.
