PINCC Walk for Women of Africa a Big Success!

The Second Annual PINCC Walk for Women of Africa was a huge success! Despite the cold and windy marine-layer day, 90 walkers arrived, from babies in strollers to active seniors. We had two walker dogs in tee shirts, and several more serving as greeters. Great News from Uganda: PINCC=trained site has seen 6000 women!

PINCC trained 9 health workers at Kisoro Hospital, Uganda, near the Volcanoes National Park where the Mountain Gorillas live, certifying them in 2008, and donating the needed equipment.  This hospital serves a large area of small villages, where health care access is difficult. Latin America Campaign for Oct-Nov is filling now!

PINCC's next trip to Latin America will visit three countries in Central and South America. The dates are as follows:

Nicaragua: Wednesday, October 27th through Saturday, November 6th

El Salvador: Sunday, November 7th through Saturday, November 13th

Peru: Sunday, November 14th through Friday, November 20th.
